Geocell / Data Warehouse

After Geocell changed its billing system for prepaid subscribers in 2014, a new Data Warehouse design was needed. Geocell Data Warehouse projects (DWH) aimed to meet the urgent reporting requirements of the customer's sales, marketing and finance teams through the new billing system. InspireIT experts actively worked on the analysis, design, code development, testing and historical data loading phases of the projects. After intensive analysis processes, the new reporting needs of the units were identified, the new Logical Model design was completed and ETL flows were developed.

As part of the first phase of the project, all historical modules related to Subscriber and Account, prepaid and postpaid call details and Datamarts were historically loaded into the new Data Warehouse model. In the second phase of the project, the Reporting Universe was redesigned, more than 50 reports were developed and ETL codes for existing postpaid subscribers were merged. The projects were completed on time and on budget in accordance with the plan.
