TARSİM Agricultural Insurance Pool / Infrastructure Transformation Projects

In order to achieve its growth targets, TARSİM has made significant technological investments over the last 10 years and reshaped its entire IT infrastructure. It has been a very important and special experience for us to be with TARSİM, which has grown its basic insurance software and the Oracle hardware and software needs required by this software exponentially every year in order to meet the requirements of the growing policy pool, in its transformation journey during this period.

During the Tarsim infrastructure transformation project, Oracle Exadata integrated system was used as database server, ZFS and Active Dataguard as backup structure, Oracle Multitenancy option for database consolidation, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE 12c) as reporting frontend and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 12c) as ETL tool. With the transition of Tarsim infrastructure to the Oracle Exadata platform, a transition was made to a secure, fast, robust and high-capacity architecture that provides high performance. At the same time, significant savings were achieved in resource utilization on servers with the Oracle Pluggable Database structure. In parallel to this, after the transition of the Tarsim data warehouse to the ODI 12c tool, faster and error-free ETL development, higher quality and consistent data access, and more powerful and real-time tests were made possible.
